Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. To provide clarity and fairness for both our guests and our business, we have established the following policies. We strongly recommend all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance.

1. Cancellation Policy
A. For Standard Reservations (Individual Chalets/Rooms)

  • 30+ Days Notice: 90% refund of the total booking cost.
  • 15 to 29 Days Notice: 50% refund of the total booking cost.
  • Within 14 Days of Check-in: The reservation is non-refundable.

B. For Exclusive Use / Whole Farm Bookings

  • Payment: A 50% deposit is required to book. The final 50% balance is due 60 days prior to check-in.
  • 30+ Days Notice: 75% refund of the total booking cost.
  • 15 to 29 Days Notice: 25% refund of the total booking cost.
  • Within 14 Days of Check-in: The reservation is strictly non-refundable.

2. Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling is offered as a one-time courtesy, subject to the following conditions.

A. For Standard Reservations (Individual Chalets/Rooms)

  • Requests to reschedule must be made at least 7 days prior to the check-in date.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability, management approval, and the guest is responsible for paying any price difference for the new dates.
  • Requests made less than 7 days before check-in cannot be accommodated.

B. For Exclusive Use / Whole Farm Bookings

  • Requests to reschedule must be made at least 30 days prior to the check-in date.
  • This longer notice period is necessary as it is difficult to rebook the entire property at short notice.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability, management approval, and the guest is responsible for paying any price difference for the new dates.
  • Requests made less than 30 days before check-in cannot be accommodated.

3. Special Circumstances (Emergencies)
In cases of genuine and unavoidable emergencies (e.g., medical emergency, natural disaster), we may consider a request to reschedule even if it falls outside the notice periods above.

  • Proof is Required: The request must be supported by genuine, verifiable documentation (e.g., a doctor’s certificate, police report).
  • Requests submitted without valid proof will not be accepted.
  • Any exception granted is at the sole discretion of management.

4. General Terms

  • Service Fees: All refunds exclude any non-refundable service or booking fees from third-party platforms.
  • No-Shows: Failure to arrive on the check-in date without notification will be treated as a last-minute cancellation with no refund.

Guest Insurance

At Mantin Farmstay, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our guests. While participating in outdoor activities such as horseback riding, kayaking, cycling, mountain climbing, or hiking, accidents can happen. That’s why we recommend that our guests take out travel insurance to ensure they are fully protected in the event of an accident.

Our insurance policy covers accidents that may occur during these activities, such as falls from horses or bicycles, as well as animal attacks and environmental-related incidents. This helps to provide peace of mind for our guests, knowing that they are fully protected during their stay with us.
